Meet Dr. Jillian Nyquist
I am originally from Paducah, KY, also proudly known as the quilt capital of the world (!) for you quilters out there. I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky, where I stayed to earn my dental degree at UK College of Dentistry. After dental school, I completed my post-graduate orthodontic training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an Andrew McArthur Brooks Fellow, where I received my Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master’s of Science Degree. I bleed UK Blue with a hint of Tar Heel Blue, and March Madness is my favorite time of year!
I joined the Lucas Orthodontic Group in April of 2017, and aspire to continue the tradition of excellence in service to patients and exceptional orthodontic care. I’m a lifelong learner and regularly participate in continuing education to stay informed about the latest advances in orthodontics and dentistry.
I have been married to my husband, James, for five years and we have a one year old son, Brooks. We are thrilled to be moving to Nolensville and look forward to becoming a part of this community. Outside of the office, I primarily enjoy spending quality time my family and friends. My family and I enjoy traveling, spending time at Kentucky Lake and Smith Lake during the summer, hiking, and cheering for the UK Wildcats!
I'm a member of numerous professional associations including the American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and Tennessee Association of Orthodontists.
My favorite part of my job is not only the unveiling of new, beautiful smiles but building relationships with my patients throughout the course of their treatment and giving them a smile they are truly proud about. I am honored and excited to be a part of the team at Lucas Orthodontic Group and hope I get to meet you soon!
